Last week, the English Spelling Contest was held in the auditorium. What an unforgettable experience! The aim of this contest was to improve students’ English spelling level, stimulate students’ enthusiasm and interest in learning English, and strengthen the construction of campus culture.

Fifty contestants from our school took part in the contest. All of them were required to spell the English words in the given time. In order to prepare for it, they all went through a very hard time. After fierce competition, Linda won the first prize because of her excellent performance. Congratulations!

The contest was a very good opportunity for students to improve English spelling, as well as gain practical experience which is of great importance. It was warmly welcomed by students and teachers in our school.
