  Three soldiers were on their way home from the war. They arrived at a small village. They were very tired and (1) but they had no food or money. The only thing they did have was a cooking pot(锅).

  Once in a small village, lived a family with eight children.   It was two months before Christmas when nine-year-old Almie Rose told her father and me that she wanted a new bike. Her Barbi bike was just too old,and it needed repairing as well.
