参考 One day, Tom was ill and lay in bed. His parents were very worried. Tom's mother was angry with her husband and said, “You shouldn't have let him out yesterday without his coat.”     Tom's father said nothing, and he picked up the telephone and dialed the number of the doctor. The doctor came soon. He asked what was the matter with Tom and Tom said that he had a bad headache, a bad cough and a pain in his stomach. After examining Tom, the doctor said, “Don't worry. Just a bad cold. You'll be all right as long as you stay in bed for a few days and take the medicine three times a day.”
