I am happy to hear from you. Thanks for your concern about what has happened in Sichuan recently. On April 20, 2013.，a terrible earthquake struck Lushan，Ya’an at 8:02
Being the strongest earthquake in China since the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, it caused 193 deaths and 12211 injuries. A great number of houses and buildings were destroyed. Quite a few people were made missing and thousands of people homeless.
Fortunately, the government took action immediately. Soldiers were sent there to rescue the people from danger, and lots of volunteers offered to help. Large quantities of food, water, tents, and medicine were transported from all over China and other parts of the world to the earthquake-stricken area.
