With this success, China started its exploration into space, and has become one of the major space powers in the world after 30 years of development. At 9:00 a.m. on October 15, 2003, a spacecraft with people named Shenzhou V was sent off into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launching Center in northwest of China¡¯s Gansu Province. And on the next early morning, Shenzhou, China¡¯s fifth spacecraft, successfully landed in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. China's space development has witnessed great changes over the past 30 years.
