We are students of Guanya High School. Recently we are informed that the government is going to turn our school, which is also the famous cultural relic in our city, into a tourist spot. We consider the government’s decision unwise, as too many tourists will cause great damage to ancient buildings. Besides, it would be difficult to move a school and to build a new one in another place will cost a large sum of money. . If our school remains where it is, the old buildings will only be used as reading rooms or the school library and at the same time all students and teachers as well will be required to protect the buildings.

Therefore, we do hope the government will do away with the unpractical plan.
