Dear Smith，

    I’m so excited that you’ll come to China and stay with me in Harbin for a week during the summer vacation．

You can’t imagine how excited I was on hearing the news．I would appreciate it if you could make it here around June 10^th，when the College Entrance Exam is over so that I can have enough time to keep you company and show you around some famous places of interest in the city．You can fly directly to Harbin and then I’ll pick you up from the airport，and then we can go downtown by bus．During your stay here，I’ll show you around some of the tourist attractions here，and perhaps we can even go for a swim once in a while．I’m sure we’ll have a very good time together．By the way，as it can be very hot in the summer in Harbin，I advise that you not carry too many clothes with you．
