There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away. The first son went in winter, the second in the spring, the third in the summer and the youngest son in the fall.
When they all had gone and returned, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said the tree was ugly and twisted. The second son said no, it was covered with green buds ad full of promise. The third son disagreed, he said it was filled with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful that it was the most graceful things he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them, insisting that it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and satisfaction.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had seen but one season in the tree’s life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by one season. If you give up when it’s winter, you’ll miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, and satisfaction of your fall.
Don’t let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest!

Don’t Make Haste in Judgment
The four sons, having been arranged to visit the pear tree at different seasons came back respectively describing it as disagreeable in winter, promising in spring, graceful in summer and full of life and satisfaction in autumn.
Of course, as the father put it, they were all right but one-sided as none of them had witnessed the growth of the tree all year round. In fact, there are those who jump to a conclusion before taking a full perspective of things. Here is a story: a husband who had returned from a business trip, on arriving home at midnight, heard a snorting sound coming from the bedroom and decided that his wife had betrayed him, left home and requested a divorce from his wife, who felt hurt and begged to be explained why. When the wife told him the snorting was nothing but the Rising Anti-Virus Software in the computer, he was ashamed to death for being so irresponsible as not to give it a second thought.
Therefore never make haste. Only when you learn to judge things in an all-sided manner can you enjoy and be grateful to your life and withstand difficulties or different opinions peacefully.

According to Shenzhen Daily, the city’s vehicle population has reached over 1 million and 80 percent of the vehicles are private cars.
Nowadays more and more families own private cars. Private cars, as the product of modern civilization, have been playing a vital role in people's daily activities. Firstly, private cars are a convenient means of transportation. You can go wherever you like. Secondly, there is no doubt that private cars will have a great impact on the economic growth. The rapid car industry growth will contribute much to keeping the country's economy growing at a higher rate in the near futrue.
But every coin has two sides. The development of the private cars will bring about a series of problems. For example, the polluted air given off by cars will do great harm to our health, too many private cars will lead to traffic jams and a great deal of energy will be wasted and so on.That is why many people suggest we should go cycling in the city instead.
However, I think that the advantages of owning a car outweigh the disadvantages. Therefore, it seems to me that China should increase its output of automobiles and enlarge the private car market. We should take advantages of private cars and make them serve us better. Meantime ,we hope that satisfactory solutions to these negative problems will be found soon.

There is a growing debate about the most effective way for students to study.  Traditionally studying alone was thought to be the best way to ensure good exam results. When studying alone you can focus your mind better than when you are with others. You also have the freedom to choose what topic to study and when, as you don't need file agreement of others. Students that prefer to study alone often say that when they study with their classmates they waste a lot of time because the discussion is often about non-study topics such as television or holidays.
In the last few years, however, more and more students have started studying in groups. There are several reasons many students prefer this method. First, they find that studying is more fun as they can share the experience with others rather than staying in their rooms.  In groups, they can discuss the subject together and when something is not understood they can ask each other questions. They can use the knowledge of their classmates to help improve their own knowledge.  Finally by discussing the topic they are able to both understand and remember it better.
