Dear Mr. White,

I read in the newspaper today that you are to be the architect for the Wanda Square’s shopping mall. I wonder if you have thought about the needs of disabled customers. Here are some suggestions.

First, it would be handy to have lifts to all parts of the mall and the buttons in the lifts should be easy for the disabled to reach. The doors should be wide enough for a wheelchair to pass through. Second, the toilets should be placed near the entrance and the doors could be opened outwards. As to the car parking, it would be better if there are parking spaces specially reserved for the disabled they are close to the mall’s entrance.
