Dear Daniel,

I am Li Hua, Chair of the Students’ Union for our school. I am writing to invite you to take part in the school sport meet.

It will be held on October 14th at the stadium of our town and lasts for 3 days. The sports meet will include track and field events for students, such as the relay, the high jump and the long jump. There will also be some games for teachers , such as the 4×100m relay race .

It will be a lot of fun. I am sure you will enjoy it. We are all looking forward to your coming.
