2.此题要求改正所给短文中的错误.短文中有10处错误,每句中最多有两处.错误涉及一个单词的增加、删除或修改.增加:在缺词处加一个漏字符号(^),并在其下面写出该加的词.
删除:把多余的词用斜线(\)划掉.
修改:在错的词下划一横线,并在该词下面写出修改后的词.
注意:1.每处错误及其修改均仅限一词.
2.只允许修改10处,多者(从第11处起)不计分.

1.happened改为happening;考查非谓语动词;"happen"做后置定语并且是主动关系.因此把happen改为happening.
2.then前面加were;考查动词的语态,主语A few roommates与动词invite是动宾关系,又因动作发生在过去,故加were构成一般过去时的被动语态.
3.unfortunate改为unfortunately;考查副词,此处用副词作状语修饰整个句子.
4.are改为were;考查动词的时态,本文讲述过去发生的事情,故用一般过去时.
5.the改为a;考查冠词,此处hospital在文中第一次提到,故用a表示泛指,意为"附近的一所医院".
6.but改为and;考查连词;根据句意医生给他们做了检查并且给他们开了些药,应该是并列的,因此把but 改为and.
7.medicines改为medicine;考查名词,medicine是不可数名词,没有复数形式.
8.before改为after;考查介词;分析句意为"在吃完药后他们都脱离了危险",故把before改为after.
9.去掉to;考查动词搭配;make是使役动词,后跟省to不定式,故把to 去掉.
10.pays 改为pay;考查宾语从句;suggest后面的宾语从句用"(should)+动词原形",should可以省略,故用pay.
