Life is the greatest teacher
There always comes a moment when I wonder where I will end up and this moment always serves as a strong motivation for me to learn life lesson.I've learned a great many things, but these are the lessons that I wish I'd learned earlier:
(61)C
There was a time when everyone's opinion was mine as well.Whatever preferences I formerly held were dashed in the face of another's.This most likely came from a need to please others.
Remember that your opinion matters just as much as the next guy's,whether they make more money than you or are less popular than you.Everyone's opinion holds the same weight.
(62)E
Drama,chaos,and emotional unrest-these were what took up most of my time as a teenager.When everyone's obsessed with what's in and what's not,tempers flare; mine mostly.
If I had heard someone said rotten things behind my back,I'd erupt.Go crazy.Looking back on those tantrums now,I'm not too surprised.After all,when you have little self control,anything is possible.The lessons here is,remain aware of how you react.
(63)A
Will one small quarrel among friends decide the fate of the entire universe?In my world it felt like it.I just wanted so much to be right and for them so much to be wrong.But in the end,it only resulted in me wasting my time and in the other person storming off in frustration.
Is there really a point to arguing?Unless it's absolutely necessary,I've learned that it's better to hold your breath on things you can't control at all.
Arguing to change someone's mind is one of them.
(64)B
I'm not saying every parent wants what's best for you (there are outliers),but in general,parents do what they do for you in your best interest.My parents used to make me do the dishes,cook dinner,sweep the floors,mow the lawn,take out the garbage…the list goes on and on.And at every turn,I'd whine and complain.I'd eventually end up doing it.Now,I honestly see the value in having learned those skills.I can efficiently cook and clean up after myself.
(65)F
Whenever I'd lose a friend,get an awful grade,or disappoint my parents,I stewed in my own muck.Waiting for the bad moments to go away seemed to be the only solution.Fortunately,I know now that you don't have to be stuck in bad situations.You can go out and create better ones.
It all depends on perspective; on how you see the situation.Viewing everything as a learning experience makes life more pleasurable,even during the hard times.You aren't stuck.You can move on.
I'm glad to have learned these lessons the way I did.Each experience helped shape me to become a better person.I don't know if any young people are reading this,but if they are,I'd like to say this:"Listen to life and it's experiences.Everyone goes through mostly the same things."

15.(36)FHalf a minute?A few seconds?
Google engineers have discovered that even 400milliseconds-as short as the blink of an eye-is too long for most Internet users.
A millisecond is one thousandth of a second.People hardly notice such a small time difference,but it does cause them to stop searching,reported The New York Times.
Nowadays,millions of smart-phones and computers are constantly gathering and sending out information.(37)B you can get digital"traffic jams".Meanwhile,users are expecting faster and faster service.
Google found that if one website is 250milliseconds slower than another website,then people will visit it  less often.(38)E Google said people do expect different things from different websites because they realize not all loading times are the same.For example,a person will be more patient waiting for a video clip to load than for a search result.
Even so,four out of five online users will click away if a video takes too long to load.This makes"difficult for video websites to choose between the quality of pictures and fast loading times.
Pursuing a higher speed has always been part of the history of the Internet.
In the 1990s,when the World Wide Web first started to become popular,(39)G people  called it the"World Wide Wait".But engineers managed to fight the problem with new inventions.They laid a lot of fiber optic cables for high-speed transmissions,they improved software so it would work more smoothly; they placed computer servers all around the world to be nearer to users; all this increased speed.
Nowadays we can enjoy much faster Internet.(40)C But they will need to keep fighting to keep up with the developing demands of internet users.

A.internet is becoming faster and faster.
B.With so many people downloading maps, sports videos, news and restaurant recommendations,
C.Major search engines such as Google and Microsoft's Bing usually find search results
in less than a second.
D.We can not expect a faster speed about the internet.
E.This is why technology companies are now competing to be the fastest.
F.How long are you willing to wait for a webpage to open before you start to lose your

Voluntary learning in organized courses by mature men and women is called adult education.Such education is offered to make people able to enlarge and interpret their experience as adults.Adults may want to study something which they missed in earlier schooling,get new skills or job training,find out about new technological developments,seek better self-understanding,or develop new talents and skills.
(62)C
This kind of education may be in the form of self-study with proper guidance through the use of libraries,correspondence courses,or broadcasting.It may also be acquired collectively in schools and colleges,study groups,workshops,clubs,and professional associations.
(63)A
Modern adult education for large numbers of people started in the 18th and 19th centuries with the rise of the Industrial Revolution.Great economic and social changes were taking place:people were moving from rural areas to cities; new types of work were being created in an expanding factory system.These and other factors produced a need for further education and re-education of adults.
(64)B
The earliest programs of organized adult education arose in Great Britain in the 1790s,with the founding of an adult school in Nottingham and a mechanics'institute in Glasgow.The earliest adult education institution in the United States was founded by Benjamin Franklin and some friends in Philadelphia in 1727.

It's a great way to find new perspectives(视角)on life.When you've been at it for a while,you just might find yourself re-evaluating your advantages.(38)C One of my friends went from wanting to be a lawyer to discovering a true passion for teaching.
★(39)A
Maybe it's not so surprising,but what might surprise you is how genuine these friends are.Some of my long term friends are people I've met through volunteering.I'm not the kind of guy that makes friends purely for connections,but sometimes it's very convenient to have a broad network.

9.Ten years ago,I used to be very fit.(36)C I used to play tennis a lot and go for long walks.In those days,I didn't earn very much.I had a job in an office.It wasn't a very good job but I had a lot of time to do the things I enjoyed doing.(37)A The pay was better,but the hours were a lot longer.I bought a car and drove to work every day.I began to take people out to lunch.And I began to put on weight,too.I stopped playing tennis and going for long walks at weekends because I just didn't have any time for things like that any more.

Sometimes I wonder if I should get another job.Perhaps I could do something like I used to do.But if I do that,I won't earn as much.I have a family to support.I have to think of them,too.I just don't know what I should do.What do you think?

Other tests have shown that laughter appears to be able to reduce the effect of pain on the body.In one experiment doctors produced pain in groups of students who listened to different radio programs.The group that tolerated the pain for the longest time was the group which listened to a funny program.(74)C
(75)BThey have found that even if their patients do not really feel like laughing,making them smile is enough to produce beneficial effects similar to those caused by laughter.

D.It increases blood pressure,makes the heart beat quicker and makes people breathe deeper; it also works several groups of muscles in the face,the stomach,and even the feet.
