19.I think we should ________all the toys to the local children hospital where the children are badly in need of them.( )A. | give away | B. | give out | C. | give up | D. | give in |
解答 答案A.give away赠送;捐赠;give out分发;散发;公开,宣布(消息等);give up放弃;投降; 戒除;give in让步;屈服; 投降.
He gave away all his pictures.
The teacher gave out the examination papers.
I saw a man giving out handbills in the street.
The principal will give out diplomas.
The mayor gave away the prizes at the school sports.
(1)give away
He gave away the secret through carelessness.
I know you didn't want to give your friend away.
Our money soon gave out.
Her patience finally gave out.
The chair gave out under the fat woman.
Our car engine suddenly gave out.
It was given out that the President had been shot.
