My mother used to ask me what is the most important part of the body. Through the years I would 36 the correct answer. When I was younger, I thought 37 was very important to us as humans, so I said, "My ears, Mummy." She said. "No, Many people are 38 . But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon."
Several years passed before she asked me again. Since making my first 39 , I had often thought over the question. So this time I told her, "Mummy, it must be our eyes." She looked at me and said, "You are 40 fast, but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind." 41 the years, mother asked me a couple more 42 and always her response to my answers was, "No, but you are getting 43 every year, my child." Then last year, my Grandpa 44 . Everybody was heart broken. Everybody was crying. My mum looked at me when it was our 45 to say our final good-bye to Grandpa. She asked me, "Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear?"
I was 46 when she was asking me this now. I always thought this was a 47 between her and me. She saw the 48 on my face and told me, "This question is very important. It shows that you have really 49 your life." I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, "My dear, the most important body part is your 50 ." I asked, "Is it because they hold up your head?" she replied, "No, it is 51 on them a crying friend or loved one can rest their head. I only hope that you have enough friends and 52 that you will have a shoulder to cry 53 when you need it." Then and there I understood the most important body part is not a 54 one. It is sympathetic(同情的)to the pain of 55__.

I ran into a stranger as he passed by, and I at once apologized to him. We were both very _36_, he stranger and I. Then we went 37 our way after saying good-bye.
But at home a 38 story is told. Later that day, when I 39 supper in the kitchen, my daughter suddenly stood behind me very 40 . When I turned back, I 41 knocked her down. “Don’t be in my 42 !” I shouted angrily. She walked away with her little heart 43 .On the kitchen floor later, I found some flowers by the door.
That night, while I lay 44 in bed, a voice in my deep heart said, “While 45 with a stranger, you are so polite, but with the children you love, you are so easily _46 .Why are there some flowers by the door? Those are the flowers she brought for you. She 47 them herself, pink, yellow and your favorite blue. She stood quietly in order to give you a 48 , and you never saw the 49 in her eyes.”
By this time, I felt very 50 and now my tears began to fall. I quietly went and knelt (跪下) by her __51__, “Wake up, little girl, wake up,” I said, “Are these the flowers you picked for me?” She smiled, “Yes, because I knew you’d like them, especially the 52_ .” I said, “Daughter, I’m sorry for the way I acted today; I 53 have shouted at you that way.”
She said, “Oh, Mom, that’s okay. I love you 54 .” I hugged her and said, “Daughter, I love you too, and I do like the flowers.”
Through this 55 , I realize what FAMILY means:

Not too long after I had begun to drive as a teenager, someone pulled out of a parking lot onto the road in front of me. I reacted 36 and pulled up very close behind her--- just to show my irritation(怒气) and let her know she didn't "just 37 with that!" We've all been there with 38 incidents and reactions. My mother was with me, and told me to turn into the 39 parking lot. Safely there, she asked me why I 40 that lady had pulled out in front of me purposely. 41 rude, power play--- I guessed. Mom said that maybe she had just had some bad 42 , maybe she was late picking up her child and was distracted(分心). Think of all the 43 of why someone does something like that. It's usually not on purpose--- but what I do as a reaction is on purpose. She always said that I 44 to think about the other side before I 45 . Usually the reaction causes more of a 46 .
I am in my fifties now, and to this day, that has always 47 my head whenever those 48 happen. I've 49 my children the same thing. We often see and hear about "road rage." No matter to what 50 that "rage" is taken, my children will say something like, "They need Grandma's words!" As adults, I don't see them react as most of us do 51 their first reaction is always anger and irritation --- they 52 it and 53 what the other person's problem might be. Even if the other driver really might be 54 or doing a "power play," no more 55 reactions will occur because of their irritation.
