An old saying “The early bird will catch worms” reminds us that if people want to be successful, they must plan ahead of time and make their efforts to overcome difficulties.
Such is the case for my English learning experience. Although I was interested in English, yet I couldn’t remember English words. I was always failing English exams. I felt extremely upset. Thanks to my English teacher’s constant encouragement and advice, I made a step-by-step plan. Every morning I got up early to momorize English words and do more English reading. Through my hard work, I’ve made greater progress and my English is improved.
In conclusion, the saying shows us the importance of planning ahead and working hard .
