Mr.Johnson is a hardworking teacher. Every day, he spends too much time with his work.With little sleep and hardly any break, so he works from morning till night. Hard work have made him very ill. “He has ruined his healthy. We are worried about him.” That is which other teachers say. Yesterday afternoon, I paid visit to Mr.Johnson.I was eager to see him, but outside her room I stopped.I had to calm myself down. Quietly I step into the room. I saw him lying in bed, looking at some of the picture we had taken together. I understood that he missed us just as many as we missed him.

1．with→ on　考查介词。固定句型：spend …on ＋ n．/(in) doing sth.。

2．去掉he前的so　考查连词。这是一个简单句，不需要用连词so。

3．have→ has　考查主谓一致。hard work 是不可数名词短语，作主语时谓语动词用单数。

4．healthy→ health　考查名词。形容词性物主代词后接名词。

5．which→ what　考查表语从句的连接词。表示其他老师的说话内容要用what，what引导表语从句，what作say的宾语。

6．paid后加a　考查固定短语。visit作名词是可数名词，pay a visit to…“参观或拜访”为固定短语。

7．her→ his　考查代词指代一致。这里是指代Mr.Johnson，应该用his。

8．step→ stepped　考查动词的时态。时态是过去时，所以用stepped。

9．picture→ pictures　考查名词的数。some of 后接可数名词的复数形式。

10．many→ much　考查固定搭配。表示程度用as much as。

The water we drink and use was running short. We all have to learn what

to stop wasting water. One of the steps that we should take are to find ways of

reusing it. Today in the most large cities, fresh water is used only once and

then it runs in waste system. But that is possible to pipe the used water to a

purifying factory, there the used water can be treated with chemical materials

by the workers so that it can reused. But even if every large city purified and

Many years ago, I was travelling in the northwest of Indian. One evening, after hunting in the

                                           

forest all day, I was returning alone to the place which I had put up my tent. It was growing dark

                                       

but I was walking along a narrow path. On my right was a wide river, and on my left , thick dark

                                                                

forest. Suddenly, I saw two eyes looking at me from among the trees. A tiger was about to jump

 

on me. What should I do? Should I jump into the river and hoped to save my life by swimming?

                                             

I looked to the right. In the river there was a huge crocodile waited to welcome me with its

                                               

mouth widely open. I was so frightened that I closed my eyes. When I opened it, what do you
