解答 C C D B A
36.C 细节题.根据Training will be provided这句话可知,该组织提供培训,所以答案为C.
37.C 细节推理.从Volunteers must enjoy working with children,be able to follow a lesson plan,and not be afraid of animals or getting dirty这句话可知,志愿者必须喜欢和孩子一起工作,能够按照计划来,不要害怕动物,故答案为C.
38.D 细节题.根据You need to work for about one hour on Thursday evening each week from mid-June to the end of October 可知,你必须每周四工作一个小时,从六月中旬到10月底,所以连续四个月每周一次,故答案为D.
39.B 细节推理题.根据文章最后一句This can be a one-time volunteer opportunity这只有一次机会的志愿者工作,如果做不好就要被被人取代,故答案为B.
40.A 大意归纳题.通过三个广告的介绍,都提到了志愿者工作的事情,所以文章主要目的是为了招募志愿者,故答案为A.

9.On numbers of occasions when something goes wrong,it can be very satisfying to say,"Well,it's so-and-so's fault."or"I know I'm late,but it's not my fault; the car broke down."It is probably not your fault,but once you form the habit of blaming somebody or something else for a bad situation,you are a loser.You have no power and can do nothing that helps change the situation.However,you can have great power over what happens to you if you stop focusing on whom to blame and start focusing on how to remedy the situation.This is the winner's key to success.
Winners are great at overcoming problems.For example,if you were late because your car broke down,maybe you need to have your car examined more regularly.Or,you might start to carry along with you useful phone numbers,so you can call for help when in need.For another example,if your colleague causes you problems on the job for lack of responsibility or ability,find ways of dealing with his irresponsibility or inability rather than simply blame the person.Ask to work with a different person,or don't rely on this person.You should accept that the person is not reliable and find creative ways to work successfully regardless of how your colleague fails to do his job well.
This is what being a winner is all about--creatively using your skills and talents so that you are successful no matter what happens.Winners don't have fewer problems in their lives; they have just as many difficult situations to face as anybody else.They are just better at seeing those problems as challenges and opportunities to develop their own talents.So,stop focusing on"whose fault it is."Once you are confident about your power over bad situations,problems are just stepping stones for success.

11.Self-confidence is an attitude which allows individuals to have positive yet realistic views of themselves and their situations.Self-confident people trust their own abilities, have a general sense of control in their lives, and believe that, within reason, they will be able to do what they wish, plan, and expect.Having self-confidence does not mean that individuals will be able to do everything.Self-confident people have expectations that are realistic.Even when some of their expectations are not met, they continue to be positive and to accept themselves.
People who are not self-confident depend too much on the approval of others in order to feel good about themselves. They tend to avoid taking risks because they fear failure. They generally do not expect to be successful. They often put themselves down and tend to ignore compliments(赞美)paid to them By contrast,self-confident people are willing to risk the disapproval of others because they generally trust their own abilities. They tend to accept themselves;they don't feel they have to conform in order to be accepted.
Many factors affect the development of self-confidence.Parents'attitudes are crucial(关键性的) to children's feelings about themselves, particularly in children's early years. When parents provide acceptance, children receive a solid foundation for good feelings about themselves. If one or both parents are much to critical or demanding,or if they are overprotective and discourage children's moves toward independence, children may come to believe they are unqualified or inadequate.
Surprisingly, lack of self-confidence is not necessarily related to lack of ability.Instead it is o ften the result of focusing too much on the unrealistic expectations or standards of others, especially parents and society.Friends'influences can be as powerful or more powerful than those of parents and society in shaping feelings of one's self.Students in their college years reexamine values and develop their own identities and thus are particularly sensitive to the influence of friends.
