Jixianlin, a famous historian¡¢translator and writer, died on July 11, 2009. He was born in Linqing, Shandong province. During his lifetime, he was good at twelve languages. In 1930 he entered Qinghua University, during which he got extraordinary marks. Later, he went to Germany to have further education in 1935. When he finished his studies, he was made professor in Qinghua university between 1946 and 1983. As we know, Mr. Ji was respected by the public not only because of his rich knowledge but also because of his personal quality. As for his achievements, he won the honor of Moving China in 2006.
