I’m glad that you are so fascinated with Chinese. As a language used by a large population in the world, Chinese has become more and more popular with foreigners. To study Chinese, you are advised to learn from elementary Chinese, like Chinese pinyin and characters. Believe it or not, its grammar is quite similar to that of English, so there is no need to worry about it.

However, just like any other languages, Chinese has its special characteristics, such as its tones and each Chinese character with its unique structure, making it harder for foreigners to learn. So they may fall into a difficult situation, feeling discouraged, not knowing what it conveys. Traditionally, across the world, boys and girls attend a mixed school, where they study together. But boys' schools are the perfect place to teach young men to express their emotions (情感) and encourage them to take part in activities such as art, dance and music.
Boys at single-sex schools were said to be more likely to take part in cultural and artistic activities that helped develop their emotional expressiveness, rather than feeling they had to correspond to(和…相符) the "boy code" of hiding their emotions to be a "real man".
The findings of the study go against accepted wisdom that boys do better when taught together with girls.
