In our daily life, no matter who is unfortunate, we should show sympathy for him and do our best to help him.

Last month, Wang Lin, who is one of my classmates, suddenly fell ill and was in urgent need of an operation. However, his family was too poor to afford the expenses. Many teachers and classmates donated some money to him and he was operated on in time. In addition, we looked after him in turn when he was in hospital. With us tending him, he recovered quickly.

As long as everyone can express sympathy and love for the unfortunate, our society will be a better place for us to live in.

【题目】We have all experienced days when everything goes wrong. A day may begin well enough, but suddenly everything seems to get out of control. It seems as if a single unimportant event may cause a number of things to happen. Let us suppose that you are preparing a meal and keeping an eye on the baby at the same time. The telephone rings and this means your troubles are beginning. While you are on the phone, the baby pulls the table-cloth off the table, destroying your half prepared meal. As senior school students, we does have some growing pains. Take some of my classmates for example, we often feel upset because of parent’s expectations, endless homework and the pressure of exams, these have seriously influence on their physical and mental health. Today I’d like to share one of my unforgettable experience with everyone present. My parents had arranged a party for my 18th birthday at a hotel. It was raining heavy outside, so we had to stay inside all night. The room was packed with guests dancing together while we saw smoke. All begin to panic because there were so many of us that we couldn’t get out quickly. Thankfully, we managed open a window and get out of the burning building. To my sorrow, some of them had to go to hospital because of breathing problems and the room which the party took place was completely destroyed.
