patted me on the shoulder and told me to studying even harder in the future. Father bought me a ten-speed

Welcome to our English Corner. It set up about four years before. Since then on many high school students have joined in it. The students from different schools gather round on Sunday mornings, and there are also some college students or foreigners. We talked about everything we know and show interest in. Dear Grace,
It is naturally that you don’t feel happy when you failed the mid-term examination. Though you failed the exam two months ago, you should have confidence in yourselves and felt relaxed so that you can do better in the coming exams. The reason why you feel too tiring to study may be because you are not confident. What you must do now are to organize your time well and be sure of yourself. Don’t work too late or too hardly. In this way you are more likely to get tired. If you miss your good days with your classmates, talking to your classmates about your worries. I’m sure they are willing to help me out no matter how busy they are.

I was real sad when I found my bicycle went wrong again. Tired of repairing it again and again, I decided  real  buy a new one. After school, I went to a shop locating in the center of the city with a friend called Jack. The black bicycle attracted my eyes as soon as we went into the store. It looked so cool that I could hardly wait to ride it. The shopkeepers told us that it was the latest bicycle.
He wanted to charge me for 800 yuan, that was too high for me. I just couldn’ t afford such an expensive one. Then I choose another one, which cost him only 200 yuan. It was not perfect,so it was much better than the old one.

To everyone in the world, money was a sensitive topic.
No one can live with money in modern society. People 
have different opinions on them. Some people think one should 
live to make money, and others, make money to live. 
In my opinion, the latter view will be more reasonable.
We should not be the slave of money. Although money
means a lot in our life, but it does not mean everything. We 
cannot exchange it for friendship and love. Money indeed can
make a person enjoy his life for a while but all his life.
