Dear R. Kelly,

I’m writing to ask for some advice on how to form a band, for you are a well-known musician.

I, as well as three other Chinese boys and two American girls in our school, who are all crazy about pop music, rap and hip-hop, want to form a band, but we lack experience in doing so.

Therefore, I’d like to know whether we should set the musical style and characteristics of our band to start with. In addition, I wonder if it will be enough for us to practise only at weekends. Lastly, we would appreciate it if you can come up with a name for our band.
