6.所有座位都坐满了人,我们只好站着观看演出.(oblige)All the seats were occupied/taken up,so we were obliged to stand to watch the performance..

分析 All the seats were occupied/taken up,so we were obliged to stand to watch the performance.

解答 All the seats were occupied/taken up,so we were obliged to stand to watch the performance.
本句是对过去行为的一种描述,根据句意"都坐满了人,我们只好站着"可知,用一般过去时.
本句为主从复合句,后面为so引导的结果状语从句,to watch the performance为不定式作目的状语.be occupied/taken up被占用,被占据;be obliged to do sth被迫做,不得不做.

点评 本句中be obliged to do sth的常用表达为have to do sth;要比have to do sth更形象、生动贴切.
I felt obliged to leave after such an unpleasant quarrel.发生了这样不愉快的争吵之后,我觉得有必要离开.
They were obliged to sell their house in order to pay their debts.他们被迫卖房还债.
