One possible version:
Since the first World Expo held in London in 1851, which was mainly a display of the products in the 19th century, the World Expos have been held successively for nearly 160 years. Shanghai World Expo, held on both banks of the Huangpu River in the city of Shanghai, will last from May 1st to Oct 31st. With the theme of "Better City – Better Life", Shanghai World Expo will help promote international exchange and show the achievements of China’s development. More than 240 countries and international organizations have participated in it and there will be about 70 million visitors. It is expected that Shanghai World Expo will be the largest expo the world has ever seen.
