Yesterday, we held a discussion on whether the Spirit of LeiFeng was out of style. Opinions were divided into two.

A small number of the students think that Lei Feng’s spirit has gone out of style in today’s society. They reason that in commodity economy people should seek more practical things, such as fame, money and the comfortable life.
　　 However, the majority of the students claim that the spirit of Lei Feng still is still necessary.
The great soldier’s story has such a strong influence on people’s ideas, values and ways of          life that in every field of society there arise countless "Living Lei Fengs".
　　  In my opinion, the spirit of Lei Feng will never be out of date. Instead, it has been brought forward. Today more and more "Lei Fengs" are coming forth from various circles . The spirit of Lei Feng——an unselfish spirit will always encourage us to go forward.
