　　How time flies!The 2007 National University Entrance Examination is only eight months away from now．As we know, there will be some changes in the English examination．Just to give you an example of the vocabulary–students are expected to have a command of more than three thousand English words, which almost doubles in the past．

　　Words are the basis of the language, so without enough English words, we have much difficulty in listening, speaking, reading, and writing．Having a large vocabulary is very important and necessary．

　　In the past I didn’t pay much attention to word study, especially to word spelling, thinking there is no word test．And now I come to know the importance of words．I will spend more time studying them．In addition, I will strengthen the intensive reading, studying the words in the contexts to improve my English．
