After reading your advertisement for a foreign English teacher in the newspaper ，I want to apply for this position。

My name is Linda Brown and I was born on October 12，1976 in Australia。I graduated from the university of Melbourne with a master's degree in Law in 2001。I have a good knowledge of English and I also know some Chinese and can communicate with people in simple Chinese 。I love the Chinese people and I have a special interest in Chinese  traditional culture 。Since I came to China in 2005, I’ve taught in several Chinese high schools, and I work hard and get along well with my students and other teachers.

    If you’re kind enough to offer me this oportunity, I’m sure that I will do a good job. I’m looking forward to your early reply.
