The Man who is Always Happy

¡¡¡¡Once upon a time there was a king who was always unhappy . He was very rich, but nothing could make him happy.

¡¡¡¡One day he invited a wise man to his palace and asked him, ¡°Are you wise enough to make me happy? ¡±

¡¡¡¡¡°If you want to be happy , you must wear the shoes of a man who is always happy¡±, the wise man replied.

¡¡¡¡The king began to ask all his friends and servants if they were always happy. But no one was always happy. At last he met a poor fisherman.

¡¡¡¡¡°I'm always happy,¡±the fisherman told the king.

¡¡¡¡¡°I'm so pleased to see you¡±, the king said. ¡°You must give me your shoes . Then I shall be happy , too¡±.

¡¡¡¡¡°But I haven't any shoes. I've always been too poor to buy shoes,¡± answered the fisherman.
