Dear Mr. Taylor,
     To let the students of Senior Three in our school learn about modern American literature, our school is
planting to hold a lecture next Friday. Therefore, I am writing to invited you to give this important lecture.
     The lecture, to be held at 3:pm next Friday in the lecture hall, will last about two hours. We are hoping
that you will introduce some masterpieces of modern American literature to us so that we can gain knowledge
of American literature in general.
     Will it be convenient for you to come and give us the lecture then? I'd appreciate it if you let me know
as soon as possible so that I can make encouragements.
