the class that I was on held a get-together, which took us a long time prepare. It was indeed not easy to get in
the touch with everybody and set a well time for all of us. We all enjoyed this precious day greatly, remember
the time we spent together and the people they were familiar with. It was a pity which some of us were not
present as they had gone to abroad for further studies. Anyway, they called back or sent greeting card from
different places.

It's been a week after we left your family and we are now back home．Thank you very much for showing them around your city and providing us for the wonderful meals．After we said goodbye to you, we went to Washington D．C．, which we stayed for three days．My brother was so much fond of the museums there that he begged my parents to staying another couple of day．However, my father had to return to work on Monday so we fly back last Saturday afternoon．It was really a nice experience．If you'd like to make trip to our city some day, I will be better than happy to be your guide．

It was my 18th birthday yesterday. As the age is special for our teenagers, so my parents held a
birthday party for me at home. With my parents and some of my good friends attend my birthday party,
I really had unforgettable experience. We sang songs, dancing and played games together. We all
enjoyed ourselves very much. During the party, my parent told me that from then on I was no longer a
child and an adult. They also said I should be more independent and responsibly. Hearing their words, I
was greatly encouraged. It was just in that moment when I felt I was a grown-up.

language very well. It may be difficult to talk about the people there. We may not know how to use the
telephone in the country which are visiting. We may not know what to buy the things we need. In a strange
country we may not know where to eat and what to order in a restaurant. It is not easy to decide how many
money to tip (小费) waiters or taxi drivers. When we are helpful, we may not know how to ask help. After
a short time later, however, we learn what to do and what to say. We learn to enjoy life in another country,
and then we may be sorry to leave both the place and the people.
