On Oct.10^th,our school held the first Foreign Language Festival.It aimed to make campus life more colourful as well as to encourge students to study English.
There were three activities during this festival—English Speech Contest,English Songs and English Playlets Competition. Each contestant from all the classes took part in them actively. And the judges consisted of our English teachers and foreign teachers.
As the chairman of the Students’ Union, I was completely involved in the festival. In my opinion, this festival has been successfully organized. Also, the atmosphere of learning English has been well constructed. Moreover, it has effectively raised our awareness of cross-culture and teamwork. I hope such activities will be regularly held then.
