With the development of the economy, the number of Chinese traveling abroad is increasing enormously. In 1996, there were 5 million people traveling abroad. Five years later, the number rose to 12 million. And in 2008, it reached 42 million.

       When it comes to the reason, first of all, our economy has developed very quickly in the last 20 years and the Chinese have more money than before. Moreover, with more spare money in their hands, many Chinese would like to better the quality of their lives by going out to see different people, to hear different ideas and to experience different cultures.

        So we can easily draw the conclusion that such an increase in the number of people traveling abroad is reasonable and will continue in the future.
