答案:D;B;A;C;D;B;D;C;B;B;D;A;C;D;A;C;A;B;D;A

I wasn't working that summer and was taking only two classes in summer school, so I had some free time. The accountant did her work carefully and worked hard, so she never made any mistakes.

  1Can you answer in English?

2He painted in oilsbut I painted in watercolors

Sheep provide us with wool.

We planned and cooked for 45 people hot meals with vegetableschickenfish and fruit

Apoliceman stopped him and demanded his name and address

  Bneed

  I need a new dictionary now.

I enjoyed this volunteer workmaking friends with the four volunteers in the kitchen

I saw him as Romen.

He is acting as Legal adviser to the company.

  习语:see as视作;serve as担任;star as主演;start as首先,充当;treat as把……看作;use as把……作为;volunteer as自愿担任;work as任……职;stay on as继续担任。

Be like another person or thing表示两人或两件事物有相似的特色,常用在系动词之后。”

  例:I don't belong hereMotherI'm not like you

These houses look exactly like each otherwhich makes the street look very dull. 而“完形”9空全句应为:-and the otherwas a college student;(who was like me.

I wish I could swim like a fish.

Their life stories ________ me with sympathy.

Some of them had problems with alcohol or drugs while others only had bad luck

go on固定搭配。

The woman went on job huntingbut she still couldn't find one.

(BeingAlone afraidand homelessshe finally came to the shelter。 Because she was alone afraid and homelessshe…。

We all know that some things are obviously right. For example, it is right to be   1  to other people. It is also right to look after the environment. Some things are   2  wrong, too. For instance, we should not hurt or bully(欺负)others, nor should we litter. Rules often tell us what is right or wrong.

Rules can help the public make the right   3 , and remain safe. Car drivers have to obey traffic regulations that tell them the right things to do on the road to avoid crashes. Cyclists who give signals before turning or stopping help prevent   4 .

If people follow rules without taking other matters into consideration, it will be   5 for them to form what is sometimes called a “black and white” view For example, they may believe that people should always tell the truth, and that lying is   6  acceptable. Such people always stick to their views, even if it means that they may get into  7 .

Sometimes it may not be so easy to know   8  what is right or wrong. Some people choose not to eat meat because they believe that it is   9  to eat animals, but others argue that they can eat meat and   10  be kind to animals; some insist that stealing is always wrong, but others think that one does not need to feel so guilty (有罪的) when stealing some food to eat, if he lives in a really poor area and he is starving.

Rules help us live together in harmony, because they show us the right way to treat others. However, some people argue that rules may be confusing, having observed that rules change all the time, and that some schools have some regulations and others have different ones---so who is to decide what is right?

When I come across a good article in reading newspapers,I often want to cut and keep it.But just as I am about to do so,I find the article on the   31   side is as much interesting. It may be a discussion of the way to   32   in good health,or advice about how to behave and   33  yourself in society. If I cut the front articles, the opposite one is likely to suffer   34  ,leaving one half of it or keeping the text    35    the title. Therefore, the scissors would stay before they start,    36   the cutting would be halfway done when I find out the   37    result.
