September 10th Friday Fine
Today is Teachers’ Day. A meeting was held in our school this morning and all the outstanding teachers were praised. Mr Li, our Chinese teacher, was among them.
After supper, my classmates and I paid a visit to Mr Li. I had never seen him so excited before. During our conversation, he told us why he chose to become a teacher after graduation and also his experiences as a teacher in the past years. He said he would devote the rest of his life to education. Finally he expressed the hope that we should make full use of our time to gain as much knowledge as we can so as to make contributions to our society in the future.
I was greatly inspired by what he said and decided to do better in all my subjects. I think I won’t let him down.
