It is well known that drunk driving has been the leading cause of road accidents. What are the reasons for the phenomenon? The lack of safety awareness is the direct reason. Besides, some people believe that drinking a little does no harm to their driving. Drunk driving is a great danger both to our society and to drivers. It’s time we took some measures to make a total ban on drinking. Firstly, we should reinforce the traffic security education to raise people’s awareness towards safety. Secondly, the government should make stricter laws about it and punish drunk drivers severely. Thirdly, we can make posters and signs warning people not to drive after drinking.
In my opinion, people should build up self conscience and pay enough attention to their daily driving. If we can keep on doing this, the road accidents will decrease soon in the future.
