Here is good news for you! An English movie called Uncle Tom’s Cabin will be shown in my school on March 17. It’s a great movie. Don’t be afraid that you might not understand the story because there are subtitles and there will be native English speakers ready to help you, too. Besides, free popcorn and soft drinks will be offered. The event is organized by the English Corner in my school. I think it’s a great chance to learn English and to make new friends, too. The movie will be shown from 3:30 to 5:30 at the Lecture Hall. If you come, I’ll meet you at the school gate at 3:20.
