     The world's shortest man, He Pingping, who was just 74.6cm tall, died in Rome on March 13, 2010 at the age of 21, where he was to take part in a TV show.
      He was born in 1988 in Wulanchabu, China and was officially(官方地)
recognized as the world's shortest man in 2008.
      Guinness World Records said he had made a "huge impact around the
world".
      Mr He was in the Italian capital to take part in the filming of a television programme  called   77ze   Record Show. According to the TV production
company, he had already filmed two episodes(插曲)  of the programme when he began to feel unwell.
      " He started to feel ill and we decided to take him to hospital.  He entered hospital two weeks ago and had all kinds of tests. Being a very special person he had to go through all sorts of tests.  He went into intensive (加强) care
three days after he was admitted. "

     Florence Nightingale was born in a rich family in England. When she was young, she took lessons in
music and drawing, and read many great books. She also traveled a lot with her parents.    
     As a child she felt that visiting sick people was both a duty and a pleasure. She enjoyed helping
them.    
     At last she decided that she was going to be a nurse.  But her father said, "Nursing isn' t the right job for a lady. "    
     "Then I will make it so," she smiled.    
     And she went to learn nursing in Germany and France. When she returned to England, Florence started a nursing home for women.

     When Dean Amold got his first job, he was miserable (痛苦的). Each time he went to work, he
coughed and he couldn't breathe. Working in a bakery (面包房)  when you are allergic to
(对……过敏) flour can be painful.
     But Arnold stayed with the National Biscuit Company for ten years. He was a businessman and he
helped them improve production. At last his health problems became too serious. He left and formed
his own company.
     With his wife and mother, he founded Arnold Bakery. They tried new recipes (配方), changing the
