Monty Robert’s father was a horse trainer. As a child, Monty often went from one farm to 1 with his father. Sometimes they didn’t have enough money to 2 food, but Monty still kept hoping to own a 3 farm.
When he was in school, his teacher asked him to write a paper 4 what he wanted to be and do when he grew up. He wrote a seven-page paper 5 his dream of having a horse farm one day. He 6 drew a picture of a horse farm in the paper.
The next day he handed 7 in to his teacher. Two days later, he got his paper back. On the front page was a large red “F” with some words “See me after class.” 8 the boy did and asked his teacher, “Why did I get an F?” The teacher said, “This dream will not 9  for a young boy like you. 10 a horse farm needs a lot of money. You have to buy the land. You have to pay for a lot of things. There is no way you could ever do it.” Then the teacher added, “If you write this paper again with a 11 dream, I will give you a good grade.”
After school he thought about it 12. At last, he decided to hand in the same paper, making 13 changes at all. He wrote, “You can keep the F and I’ll keep my 14.”
Many years later, Monty had his own 200 acres horse farm. His dream came true.
So don’t let 15 take away your dreams. Follow your dreams, no matter what they are.

Apple is one of the most popular fruits in our life, and people eat apples every day. But thereare 1apples that are especially important to the history of our human beings and they have changed the whole world.
Long long ago when the world just started, apple was a forbidden  2 in the Garden of Eden, however, a girl named Eve stole and ate it. Unfortunately, she was discovered by God, and was driven away  3 the Garden together with a boy called Adam. After they 4 the garden, Adam and Eve had their own babies and 5 the ancestors of all of us. This is the beginning of our world, history 6 morality.*
In the Autumn of 1665, there 7 a young man sitting under an apple tree in his garden. His name was Newton. While he was thinking of one problem, suddenly, an apple dropped down from the tree and fell on his head. 8 this, Newton discovered gravitation* on that day and his new idea of science made people really 9  and happy, also he changed our opinions about nature and the way 10  we think, then people began to11what science was at that time.
And today, Jobs Steve, this crazy old man changed the world by his apple products. For example, iPhones12 be found 13 in the street, young people feel cool when they use this kind of new high-tech* product. Don’t you think 14 apple products have become a symbol of our time? As Jobs Steve often said he was born to change the world and he made it. 15 he has died, people remember him and miss him, because he made our life more colorful and amazing.

One day a young man went by the garden. He looked at the beautiful flowers, imagining how happy he could be2he lived in such a beautiful place. Then, suddenly he found the old gardener was3. He was very surprised about this and asked, “You can’t see these flowers.4are you busy taking care of them every day?”
The old man smiled and said “I can tell you four reasons. First, I was a gardener when I was young, and I really like this job. Second,5I can’t see these flowers, I can touch them. 6, I can smell the sweetness of them. As to the last one, that’s you.”
“Me? But you don’t know me,” said the young man.
“Yeah, it’s7that I don’t know you. But I know that flowers are angels(天使) that everybody8. We enjoy the happiness these flowers have brought us.”

Imagine a life without arms or legs! You can’t hold anyone without your1.You can’t walk anywhere without your feet. How would you last a day like that? Would you2at yourself in the mirror(镜子)like Nick Vujicic, the 29-year-old Australian?
Nick was born without limbs(四肢), so life was not3for him. At school many students played jokes on him. Because he looked different from everyone else. He was refused(拒绝)to be4friends, so he always felt5. However, he faced that bravely. He6to type and write with two toes at the age of six, and he could7surf and play golf. In college, he achieved great success and was among the excellent students in the studies. And he decided on what to do later in his life—to encourage others to work hard for their dreams.
Now Nick is one of the most popular8in the world. He travels to many countries and gives speeches about his story against difficulties. “Living life fully is about looking at what you9, not what you don’t have.” he said. His story encourages millions of people.
“I tell people to keep on getting up when they10and to always love themselves, ”he said. “If I can encourage just one person, then my job in this life is done.”
