In our daily lives many people always have negative thoughts. Being in a negative space is harmful to our life and study. If you keep them in mind, you will lose hope sooner or later. Let’s drive away some of the most common negative thoughts.
No one cares about me.
Sometimes you say that your family and friends don’t care about you. Maybe you are too negative and misunderstand the gestures of love they show you. They don’t have to be big gestures, but there are many countless little things they do for you. Maybe you just pay no attention to them and take them as granted. Perhaps you think they don’t care about you so you don’t make any effort in your relationships. Start showing people you care, so they can show you back in the same way. And if you don’t have good relationships wit the people you know, what’s stopping you from making new friends?
Why is she better off?
Comparing yourself to someone else is never positive. There’s always going to be someone who is younger, prettier, smarter, or richer than you. If you keep admiring what someone else has, then this may cause you to lose the balance in your mind, which will open a whole other negative can of worms. Remember, what they don’t have is your whole package. Be proud of what you have, because if you want to play the comparison game, remember that there are people who are also worse off than you are.
I’ll never reach my goal.
If you think you’re not going to be able to “get there”, think again. There are many people who are worse off and have overcome more difficulty than what you are facing.
Everything is within your reach as long as you work hard and have a positive attitude.

Our plans for the winter holiday
Winter holiday is coming. Many of my classmates are making plans for the holiday.
I do hope we can enjoy our holiday.
High-speed railways, Alipay, shared bikes and online payment are seen as the new four great achievements of China by young foreigners, according to a video survey by the Silk Road Research Institute of Beijing Foreign Studies University. In the video, young people from 20 countries along Belt and Road Routes were asked to name great achievements that had influenced their lives in China. The following is what they said from 4 young people of them.
Justin, from Bucharest, Romania I’m from Romania. China is really a great country and its high-speed railways are very fast, convenient and tidy. It takes me only 6 hours from Beijing to Shanghai by train. It saves a lot of time and it’s cheaper than airplane. I wish we would have high-speed railways in our country someday. |
Yala, from Kathmandu, Nepal I’m from Nepa, I always go out by bike. A bicycle-sharing system allows people to borrow a bike from point “A” and return it at point “B”; It’s not only cheap but also a low-carbon and healthy way of life. I like it very much. |
Archana, from New Delhi, India My life in Beijing is quite different from that in India. Here is China, I seldom take money with me when I go out. I can pay for almost everything by Zhi Fu Bao. Oh, it’s amazing. However, in India, if you don’t take a wallet with you, you will be in a tough spot. |
Bond, from Bangkok, Thailand You can find many wonderful things that we don’t have in Thailand. We don’t have Alipay or other online payment Apps with which I can go shopping without stepping out of the doors. If only I could bring them back to my country. |
