There are just three of us in my family: my mum, my dad and me. I've got many possessions and many modern things: a big TV, a new computer and a mobile phone. In my family life, I'm not expected to do the housework.

We go out for dinner together sometimes, but my dad is often abroad on business, and my mum works too. We usually just do our own personal things. My parents don't usually set rules for me, and since I'm a good daughter, they never punish me. Recently, we moved to a new flat and I like it very much. It's much bigger than our last one. But I feel very lonely when my parents are away from home. I hope they can spare time with me. I seldom feel happy in my family.

一Emily

I live on a fruit farm. We have lots of pear trees and some apple trees. I have to help my parents all through the year.

The busiest time is in late summer, when the fruit is ready to be picked. At this time of year, we usually get up at 4:30 in the morning, start picking at 5:00 and carry on working until late afternoon. My mother would bring lunch for us to have under the trees. At the end of the day, we are all tired and sleepy. It takes about five weeks to pick all the fruit every year.

At night, the fruit would be carefully packed into boxes and then put onto trucks. The trucks take it to the markets to be sold. Sometimes we ride in the trucks to the city. For farm boys, that is a very exciting time. Tired though, we are very happy to be with family and share the happiness.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Thank you for coming today to attend the graduation ceremony at No. 3 Junior High School. First of all, I'd like to congratulate all the students who are here today. I remember meeting all of you when you were just starting Grade 7 at this school. You were all so full of energy and thirsty for knowledge. Today I see a room full of talented young adults who are full of hope for the future. You've all grown up so much and I am so proud of you.

You've all worked very hard over the last three years. I hope you'll remember the important people in your lives who helped and supported you—your parents, your teachers and your friends. Please consider what they've done for you and what they mean to you. Never fail to be thankful to the people around you.

Lastly, the end of junior high school is the beginning of a new life. Life in senior high school will be harder and you will have many difficult tasks ahead of you. The local government of Haidian and the Internet company Baidu had an agreement in January, 2018. They wanted to develop “smart city” building together. Haidian Park was chosen by them. Why was Haidian Park chosen? It is because the park covers about 34 hectares(公顷)near the 4th Ring Road. And it received about 1.2 million tourists last year. It took the workers 10 months to change Haidian Park into an artificial intelligence(AI)(人工智能)theme park. Haidian Park lies in northern Beijing. So Haidian Park became China's first artificial intelligence theme park. It was opened to the public in early November.

Now the park has driverless buses, smart lamp posts(灯柱)and smart speakers. The buses themselves can run according to the directions from a computer. The smart lamp posts can record a lot of data quickly and well. The smart speakers can understand human instructions correctly. The park gives people a totally new look. People can experience different artificial intelligence here.

Che Jianguo said that a total of 10 government departments and companies took part in the rebuilding of the park over the past 10 months. He comes from the park office and he is in charge of the program.

In recent years, Chinese high-tech companies begin to do some things in the artificial intelligence industry. The central government also said in October that it would help the development of the country's new generation of artificial intelligence.
