It was on April 10,1912,when the Titanic started out for New York. She was carrying more than 2 000 people.At that time, this ship was the biggest and finest of all. For it had sixteen compartments with her. If four of them were broken, she would still be able to stay on water.
Four days after she started out, while the Titanic was moving across the seas, the man on watch suddenly saw a very large iceberg(冰山), and it was 100 meters tall.
