In the past, ten years ago, My hometown was very poor. The lives of people were poor. The transportation was not convenient. People went someplace only on foot. People lived in small houses. But at that time ,the environment was very good. The air was fresh. People directly drank water from the river.

 Now, great changes have taken place in my hometown. There are many tall buildings. People go to someplace by bus, car ,underground or train. People live in big and bright flats. Many people have their own cars. But water pollution is very serious. The air isn’t as good as before.

I am very happy to see these changes. I hope that my hometown will become better and better in the future.
