     He took off his shirt. Then, he pulled off his shoes and threw them into the crowd. Finally, he ran back to
the court (球场) and saluted (敬礼) the audience.
     This is how Chinese badminton player Lin Dan celebrated his victory over Lee Chongwei (李宗伟) of
Malaysia, who ranked No.1 in the world, on November 21. Lin won the gold in the badminton men'singles final
at the Asian Games in Guangzhou.
     Known as "Super Dan", the 27-year-old Lin is said to be one of the greatest players of his generation. He
won nine top titles between 2002 and 2004. In the 2008 Beijing Olympics, he won a gold. He also took home

      He came again the next day and worked until it was time to leave. His name was Jerry. He was 12 and
had been at the Children's Home (孤儿院) since he was only four. I thought of him. He was honest (诚实).
For example, the handle (柄) of the ax (斧) broke one day. Jerry said the Children's Home would mend it. I
handed him some money to pay for it. He wouldn't take the money. "I'll pay for it, mama. I broke it. I didn't
hit the wood in the right place."
