Maybe you are an average(一般的) student. You probably think you will never be a top student. This is not necessarily so, however. Anyone can become a better student if he or she wants to. Here's how.

Plan your time carefully. When planning your week, you should make a list of things that you have to do. After making this list, you should make a plan of your time. First, your time for eating, sleeping, dressing, etc. Then decide a good, regular time for studying. Don' t forget to set enough time for entertainment(娱乐). A weekly plan may not work out all your problems, but it will push you to realize what is happening to your time.

Find a good place to study. Look around the house for a good study place. Keep this space, which may be a desk or simply a comer of your room, free of everything but study materials(材料). No game, radio, or television! When you sit down to study, concentrate(集中精力) on your subject.

Make good use of your time. Listen to everything the teacher says. Really listening in class means less work later. Taking notes will help you remember what the teacher says.

Study regularly. When you get home from school, go over your notes. Review the important points that your teacher has mentioned in class. If you know what your teacher is going to discuss the next day, read that material. This will help you understand the next class. If you do these things regularly, the material will become more meaningful, and you will remember it longer.

Develop a good attitude(态度) to tests. The purpose(目的) of a test is to show what you have learned about a subject. They help you remember your new knowledge. The world won't end if you don' t pass a test, so don't be overly worried.

There are other ideas that might help you with your studying. You will probably find many others after you have tried these.

3.It is the third solar term according to the Chinese lunar calendar. When it comes, spring thunder (雷 ) cracks the sky and everything in nature begins to grow. It means that animals sleeping in winter are awakened by spring thunder and that the earth begins to come back to life. After it, days will get warm, rainfall will increase and nature will change quietly.

4.The traditional Chinese lunar calendar divides the year into 24 solar terms. It is the first solar term of the year. This year it begins on Feb 4th and ends on Feb 18th. The doctors and nurses wore the same suits, hats and masks, and it was difficult to tell who was who when doing an operation. To solve the problem, Rob Hackett, an anesthesiologist(麻醉师) in Sydney, Australia, had an idea to write his name on his hat. At the beginning, his workmates didn't take it seriously, even someone laughed at him, “Don’t you remember your name?”

Dr. Rob showed his thoughts on the website Bored Panda, “As we all know, doctors are a stressful job, and when facing with life and death danger, we have to race against time to try to save patients' lives. We need to create a culture that allows us to rebuild health care. We need to develop a system that reduces mistakes and errors.”

A year later, Rob had the last laugh. Surgical(外科手术)caps with names have been accepted around the world because of the following advantages:

※ This simple method can reduce human mistakes in medical care. Doctors found that doing this can find proper doctors and nurses in time, which greatly saves the time of communication.

※ The idea is to make patients feel human. The patient lies on sickbed, knowing who is doing the operation. This is also a kind of comfort which lets the patient feel less nervous.
