go," she said.
     The next morning the Browns met Mr. Snow at the animal shelter. "We want to be sure that the pets here

     After they talked for a while, the Browns decided to get a small dog. It wouldn't need a big house or a big
yard. A small dog would bark (吠) and warn (警告) them if someone tried to break into their house. After
Mr. Snow gave the Browns a book on pet care, they chose one and wanted to take her home right away. But
the animal doctor hadn't examined her yet. So Mr. Snow told them to return on Sunday.

Though we are young, we can still do something to help. In fact, even the simplest everyday activities can
make a real difference to the environment. Here are some ideas for you to live green life.
     Remember these three words: reduce, reuse and recycle.
     Reduce means"use less". Don't waste things. This saves money and reduces pollution and waste going

    Recycle means"change things into something else". Although it takes energy to change something into

neighborhood and take part in recycling programmes. We should also buy products made from recycled
materials, such as recycled paper, to help save trees.
