At the age of 14,the Hong Kong-born Yang has already created her own mobile app for Alzheimer's patients(阿尔茨海默病人), which Bill Gates likes. Yang named it Timeless. However, Yang's life as a young software developer has not been without difficulties. Many business-men didn't take her work seriously. Yang had to start an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign(众筹) to support her Timeless app project. That effort raised more than $10,000.

"I think perseverance(坚持不懈) is really important," Yang said. "Never let anyone tell you that you shouldn't be in the field that you want to be in the most."

She encouraged other young people to believe in themselves, because the teenagers of today will be tomorrow's leaders.
