Last Monday we talked about the advantages and disadvantages of keeping pets. Some students think that more and more people keep pets nowadays. Animals become our good friends. Keeping pets can bring us a lot of fun. Especially for some old people, pets can make them feel less lonely.

But some students don’t agree. They think it is not good to keep pets. They need to spend a lot of time taking care of them. When the pets get sick, they need to send them to hospital, and that will cost them a lot of money. What’ worse, Pets will often make our room dirty. Most of us hate it.

In my opinion, I think if the pets are cheap and easy to keep, just like goldfish, we can keep them.
