| Friday, March 30th Our trip to Chiang Rai was long and boring. We visited a small village in the mountains. The village people here love the quiet life----no computers or phones. They are the kindest people I have ever met. They always smile and say “ hello”. Kathy and I can only speak a few words of Thai, so smiling is the best way to show kindness. I feel good here and hope to be able to come back next year. |

The final exam comes in June. When the exam ends(结束) , the summer vacation begins. Boys and girls have about two months to relax. The summer vacation is the best time of the year for most children. Today I took Frank to have a training class (培训课). We got there earlier than most of the other dogs and owners.
Mr. Brown helped us teach our dogs some skills (本领). When the dog did it, he said, “Good dog!” He was a serious man but he laughed a lot with dogs. He said Frank was smarter than other dogs.
