Two years ago,Cameron saw one of his mother’s patients(病人)fall over at his home but the woman’s daughter was unable to lift her.After that Cameron thought up the idea for the Res-QLift.He says that the Res-QLift makes it possible to move the disabled or the injured easily.“People can just slide(滑动)patients onto my invention,”Cameron says.

Jerry Chang is the president of Florida International Business Service,which helps inventors turn their ideas into products.He agreed to help Cameron develop his invention.

“When people are young.they are generally creative and have lots of dreams.What we need to do is encourage kids.This way,they can invent more things as they grow up,”Jerry Chang says.

The Res-QLift is designed for nursing homes,hospitals and even homes.It is raised and lowered with the push of a button.Chang says the lift moves slowly so as not to scare(惊吓)patients Until Cameron met with Michael Osadchey,he hadn’t told anyone about his idea for the invention.

“Michael Osadchey has helped me a lot.He is basically the best part of what happened today,”Cameron says.

Now the 11-year-old has already started working on his next invention.
