Earth Hour started in Sydney at 7:30 p.m on March 31,2007. More than 2.2 million homes and businesses turned off their lights for an hour. A year later, on March 29, Earth Hour 2008 become a global activity and was supported by 50 million people from 35 countries. This year, on March 28, over 2100 cities in 88 countries took part in it. And Earth Hour came to China. The activity aims to save energy and improve climate. （People do this in order to save energy and improve climate .）We have save different ways to spend the dark hour such as having dinner with our family in the candlelight and sharing stories with our friends.
